Professor Egghead Science Academy focuses on high-energy, hands-on experiments and demonstrations to get kids excited about science and engineering.
Professor Egghead Science Academy Summer Camp offers engaging, hands-on science and engineering programs for children aged 4 to 10. Campers participate in a variety of experiments and demonstrations, exploring themes such as space, rockets, and mysteries. Activities include building and testing flying machines like helicopters and rockets, digging for fossils, creating slime, and solving science-based mysteries. The curriculum emphasizes kinesthetic learning, allowing children to actively engage with scientific principles and take home their creations daily. The camp aims to foster a deep understanding of scientific concepts, develop problem-solving skills, and encourage an interest in STEM fields through fun and interactive challenges.
A typical day involves an exciting science demonstration, followed by a series of completely hands-on experiments and building challenges related to the weekly theme, with campers taking home their creations daily.
This camp is best for elementary-aged children (4.5-9 years old) who are curious about how things work and enjoy hands-on building and experimenting.
