iD Tech offers a balanced schedule of hands-on tech learning and traditional summer camp activities on prestigious university campuses, with a guaranteed low student-to-teacher ratio.
Students at iD Tech Camps' Drone Programming & Design program delve into the exciting world of unmanned aerial vehicles. Through hands-on projects and coding challenges, campers learn to program and design drones, gaining a fundamental understanding of flight principles and autonomous control. The curriculum emphasizes practical application, allowing students to build and customize their own drones, then program them to perform various tasks. This immersive experience fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and computational skills, preparing students to innovate in the rapidly evolving field of drone technology. Campers will leave with a tangible project and a deeper appreciation for engineering and programming.
A typical day includes approximately five hours of instruction and lab time, interspersed with two hours of activities and socializing, and up to an hour of flex time for project refinement or breaks.
This camp is ideal for middle and high school students who are curious about technology, enjoy hands-on projects, and are interested in learning to program and design drones.
