Students will take an original idea from concept through development, writing, production, marketing, and distribution, using AI and emerging creative tools.
This two-week intensive program at Loyola Marymount University explores the intersection of storytelling, technology, and the rapidly changing entertainment industry. Students will develop an original idea from concept through development, writing, production, marketing, and distribution. They will utilize AI and emerging creative tools for character and world development, material writing and revision, and creating visual proofs of concept. The program also covers strategies for building audiences and distributing content across social media and the creator economy. By the end of the course, students will have an original project and a strategy for its distribution, gaining skills in AI-assisted filmmaking and creative technology.
Students will engage in classroom work, utilizing AI and creative tools for various aspects of project development, and will also participate in a course-related field trip in Los Angeles.
This program is ideal for rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in exploring the future of entertainment through AI-powered storytelling and technology.
